Ashley’s Dream
5C Ting Tsz Ho Bosco
Today, my mom and dad were going to
attend their friend’s wedding ceremony, so they
asked me to take care of my little sister, Ashley.
I thought, it was my job to take care of Ashley,
so I needed to entertain her.
But I couldn’t think of anything to do.
Suddenly Ashley said, “Can you show me
how this puzzle is built?” So I started building
the puzzle. I looked at Ashley, she looked very excited and glad. So we kept
playing. I read almost twenty stories to her until she was very tired and sleepy,
and carried her into her room so she could take a nap. In no time, she started
snoring. We made a mess when we were playing, so I went to clean up the
living room.
As I was sweeping the floor, I suddenly heard Ashley shouting. “Get away
from me!” I felt confused and terrified
at the same time. Did a burglar break
into our house? I immediately used my
broom as a weapon, kicked open her
door and strode in. But I could only see
Ashley shouting, “Ah! Stupid spiders, get
off!” I felt relieved, but it was also kind of
funny, Ashley was tracking spiders in her
dream, and I thought there was a thief. I
burst into laughter.
At last, when Mom and Dad came
back, I told them what happened. They
laughed, too. When Ashley woke up, and
heard us talking about it, she asked, “Who
was it?” I tried to keep calm and control
myself from laughing. But Ashley looked
at me, confused. Consequently, I told her
about the story, she laughed, too!
