                       How to Make an Apple Pie

            Kitchen Tools:
            •   9-inch glass pie plate
            •   Large mixing bowl
            •   Aluminum foil

            Ingredients:
            •   2 (9-inch) pie crust
            •   2 baking apples (e.g. Cortland, Rome…)
            •   2 Honey Crisp apples
            •   1 Granny Smith apple
            •   1 tablespoon of lemon juice
            •   1/2 cup of brown sugar
            •   1/4 cup of granulated sugar
            •   1 tablespoon of apple pie spice
            •   1 pinch of Kosher salt
            •   1 tablespoon of cornstarch
            •   3 tablespoons of milk


            Instructions:
            1. First preheat the oven to 350 ℉.


            2. Second, prepare 2 pie crusts. Place bottom crust into the pie plate and
            freeze it in a freezer. Poll the second pie crust and set aside while preparing
            apple pie fillings.


            3. Third, peel all apples and slice them into 1/4-inch slices. Make sure to
            remove the apple cores. Toss apples into a large bowl with lemon juice and
            coat it to prevent apples from turning color. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar,
            apple pie spice, salt and cornstarch.


            4. Remove the pie plate from the freezer and pour the apple mixture into the
            bottom crust. Top with the second pie crust and turn bottom crust on top of
            the edges of the top crust. Crimp or press closed but slit into the top of the pie
            crust, place on top of a rimmed baking sheet to hold any dripping.

            5. Brush some milk on top of the pie and sprinkle some granulated sugar on
            the surface.
