Karangahake Gorge, Auckland Museum, Mount Eden
We went hiking in Karangahake Gorge. We viewed the amazing natural
landscape on the way. Can you see the tracks in the picture? They are
the tracks that were used before to bring gold bearing rock from the gold
mines to the town. We explored the old gold mine too. We went into
the tunnels and the ground there was uneven. It was not easy to walk
through them. It was difficult to see where we were going too as there
was no light inside. We had to turn on the lights of our mobile phones to
light up the tunnels.
When we were taking the photos at Auckland Museum, we actually could
not wait for exploring more about New Zealand since we were almost at
the end of our journey.
