Highlights
On Mount Maunganui Ocean Beach, we were asked to design and
build sand hotels with our groupmates. All groups worked with great
enthusiasm in the sun. When we designed the hotels, we needed to take
environmental factors into consideration. We had to describe our model
hotels and its special features to teachers.
In order to care for nature, like the people in New Zealand, we got
water from the river nearby and watered the saplings on the wetland.
We hoped that the sapling plants would grow more healthily and the
environment will continue to be good for all living creatures.
