Kiwifruit Country, Comvita Manuka Honey Centre, McLarens Falls
Kiwifruit is a famous fruit from New Zealand. We visited the kiwifruit
orchard to learn why kiwis grow so well in New Zealand. We learnt that
they grow so well because of the soil in New Zealand, it is rich in volcanic
ash and it is fertile. We made kiwifruit advertisements in the orchard too.
The judge praised us and said that we were creative and energetic.
Manuka Honey comes from bees visiting the flowers of the manuka
trees. We learnt how honey bees make honey. We discovered the world
of the honeybees and the wisdom of nature. We had honey-tasting and
tried honey ice cream, it is so smooth and creamy!
