Highlights

We walked barefoot into the clear natural water at Blue Lake and
enjoyed the sunshine. We loved the colour of the water, the mountains

             and the sky.

After we returned to the accommodation, we attended a Maori
craft workshop. Maori people always make good use of the natural

resources to make craftwork. We learnt how to make korus. The koru
is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a new unfurling silver

fern frond. It symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.
