Highlights










             There was a big building just next to the river, it was a large thermal
             power station. It supplies more than 30% of New Zealand’s electricity.
             The tour guide patiently explained how the power station works.





























                                                        After the picnic lunch, the tour guide

                                                        taught us what gravity is. We sat on a
                                                        slope, the tour guide encouraged us to
                                                        roll down the slope to experience the

                                                        force of gravity. We all experienced this

                                                        popular outdoor activity for children in
                                                        Western countries. Rolling down was
                                                        great fun!
