Highlights
There was a big building just next to the river, it was a large thermal
power station. It supplies more than 30% of New Zealand’s electricity.
The tour guide patiently explained how the power station works.
After the picnic lunch, the tour guide
taught us what gravity is. We sat on a
slope, the tour guide encouraged us to
roll down the slope to experience the
force of gravity. We all experienced this
popular outdoor activity for children in
Western countries. Rolling down was
great fun!
