2021 marked the 50 Anniversary of The Y.W.C.A. Hioe Tjo Yoeng College
(HTYC).

Although Hong Kong was seriously affected by the Covid-19 Virus epidemic, and
stringent measures were imposed, we still enjoyed a series of celebration activities
with the guidance and blessings from our Lord.

When the Thanksgiving service was carried out, students, parents, and alumni

were able to participate in person or online. When the 50 Anniversary dinner
was not possible, a reunion open day for alumni on the school site was a joyous
th
and warm event. Teachers and students arranged a high-standard 50 Anniversary
Online Concert so that Hioecians all over the world could attend. A School-based
Visual Arts Exhibition was held in early September, the first of its kind for HTYC.

With the dedication of School Principals, teachers, and auxiliary staff, HTYC
aims high at enriching students’ lives with a scholarly education, affirming them,
sharpening their capabilities, and enhancing their competitiveness. We hope our
students are resourceful and compassionate, committed to serving the society in
the future with a caring heart.

It has been a successful and rewarding 50 years, and we look forward to many
more glorious years to come. 念 校 刊 十 五 周 紀 年
