It is my pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to The Y.W.C.A. Hioe
th
Tjo Yoeng College (HTYC) on its 50 anniversary, and to have witnessed its
significant growth over past years which was made possible with the concerted
effort of every HTYC member, including students, teachers, principals and school
management under God’s grace and blessing. Established for over half a century,
HTYC has lived up to its motto of “Think critically and be moral” by not only
equipping students with knowledge and skills to pursue academic excellence, but
also nurturing them to unleash their talents in various areas of competence ranging
from sports and music to technology and leadership. It fosters their growth in
Christian character and they demonstrate upright character, independent thinking,
care for the community and the spirit to serve. On this important occasion, I would
like to wish HTYC continued success in its future endeavours and the many more
brilliant milestones in the years to come.
