My Superhero
3D Ng Sheung Man
My superhero is a fighter which defeats mythical creatures. So far he has defeated
countless villains, such as the Hydra, which had nine heads and poisonous blood.
One of my superhero’s powers is that he can invent anything, anywhere. He can also
fly, be invisible, shrink and grow… almost anything you can think of!
One thing that is very special is his appearance. He does not have a head, like a
beheaded person. You could say he’s part ghost, part human. He also does not have
a name. Normally, he holds a large trident, but when he’s trying to defeat someone as
dangerous as a Chimera, his power of inventing anything will have to come to use. His
greatest enemy? Typhon, which probably is the most dangerous
Green monster in Greek mythology, also said to be the father of
monsters.
Now, when you have enemies, you have allies. The allies of
his include Qilin, Athena and Odysseus.
Folks, this is just my creation of a superhero. I want to ask the whole class how
their creations are like, including you, dear reader.
A Fable Story
4A Lee Hei Yuen
One day, a fox and a donkey were made as archery competitors and they were going for their first contest.
They also caught some prey for themselves to eat. The friends taught each other hunting skills too! All was
going well until they saw a lion.
The lion was twice bigger than the donkey and it just caught three rabbits. The lion was very protective of his
food, so he snarled at the friends to warn them not to go close to him. The two friends wanted to run, but their feet
seemed to get stuck in the ground. The crafty fox decided to let the lion eat the donkey. He had been a criminal for
helping other criminals. Tragically, his evil thoughts raised again. He decided to give the donkey’s life to save his
own, so he told the lion if he did not harm him, he would get free donkey meat in four days.
After the lion had trusted the fox, he spent the next two days digging a hole to trap the donkey. Two days
later, after the trap was built, he tried to lure the donkey in but failed. Instead, he fell into the hole himself! The
donkey helped him out even though he knew what the fox was planning. The fox thanked him and apologized
to the donkey, as he now knew betrayal was one of the most vicious things of all.
