A good story is a corridor When a book holds a place in the reader’s heart,
That can lead you to another world. Her love and admiration are captured from the start.
A good story is a wonderland A key is required for the lock to unfold,
The lock protects that of which is yet to be told.
That can make you laugh with only words.
In her heart, the reader knows this story to be true,
A good story is a roller coaster
Somehow she just needs to find the ‘who’.
That can take your emotions through a ride
Whether it is happy, sad, fear or anger, An author is the ‘who’, the one with the key to a
Jealousy, bravery, or full of pride. readers’ soul,
Giving life to their imagination, to their goal.
Look! It’s Aladdin! He’s on his way.
Over pages upon pages, in a book ever so long,
With his magical flying carpet, he will save the day.
Over chapters, their heart grows strong.
Look! It’s Alice from the Wonderland.
With the White Rabbit, her adventures are on their way.
Devotion to the stories, to the characters and plots,
Starts a fire of burning passion, like that of doing
A good story is a good companion squats.
When you are upset or frightened Tomorrow brings a new day for our reader, even fair,
Because with the adventures you are about to have Only she knows the experiences she hides behind
her hair.
