          Casework Service
          兩隊服務隊於本年度共處理三百五十三宗個案及一百六十一宗潛在個案。接近一半的處理個案關於情緒或
          精神健康方面的問題,當中包括學童或家人面對情緒壓力,導致個人情緒或精神狀態不穩;面對家人離
          世、患病和家庭突發事情;父母離異和轉校等引起的適應困難或表達困難等問題。


          此外,約百分之十八的個案出現與學習需要有關的問題,如學童的專注困難及疫情下出現的學習問題;家
          長管教問題也佔相同比例,當中有不少家長表示在疫情及停課期間,因學童沉迷電子產品,或突然需要在
          家照顧多名子女,尤其是有特殊需要學童,而產生管教問題,引發無力感。其次,家庭問題個案約佔百分
          之六;經濟問題個案約佔百分之五。

          This year, our two service teams handled a total of 353 cases and 161 potential cases. About half of the cases
          revolved around emotions or mental health problems, which included unstable personal emotions or mental state
          caused by emotional pressure of the children or family members; experiencing passing away of family members or
          suffering from illness and family contingencies; dealing with adjustment or expression difficulties caused by parent
          divorce and school transfer and etc.


          Also, about 18% of the cases were related to educational needs, such as difficulty in concentrating and learning
          issues brought by the pandemic; parental discipline took over the same proportion of cases. Most parents stated that
          during the pandemic and class suspension, disciplinary problem arose because students were addicted to electronic
          gadgets or the parents needed to take care of several children in a sudden, especially with students with special
          needs. The parents were therefore feeling helpless. The figure was followed by about 6 % of family issue cases and
          around 5% of financial problem cases.
