            Dear Debbie,

You’ll never know what just happened to me last Sunday. Let me tell you
            about it.

Last Sunday, when I was in Aberdeen travelling with my family, I saw a little
boy sitting on the floor, begging for money. He looked very sad, and his knee
            was bleeding!

I felt very sorry for him. I took some coins out of my wallet and dropped
them into the little box in front of him. Suddenly, a smile spread on his face. I
felt very happy that I could help him!

A few moments later, I helped Mom and Dad taking photos at the harbour.
When I was focusing the camera on my parents, I saw someone in the corner
of my eyes. The little beggar was there! He was standing behind me. He was
holding a big packet of chips. It seemed that he was showing off.

Did he buy some chips with the coins which I gave him? It would make
sense to me if he bought some filling food like some bread or biscuits. Out of
my curiosity, I looked at him more closely. Oh! He was wiping his knee with a
piece of tissue paper. The tissue paper turned red and the “wound” on his knee
disappeared. I understood that it was fake blood and the boy was a cheater
            indeed!

I told my mum and dad about the scene. They stepped up and questioned
the boy. He then explained, “I want to buy some food and drinks but I do not
want to spend my own money. Therefore, I pretend to be a beggar. I promise
that I won’t do it again.” Mom, Dad and I looked at each other and shrugged.
            We felt weird and left.

Have you ever met a cheater? Please share your experience and reply
            soon.

                                                                                   Love,
                                                                                   Adrian
