After listening to what Dad said, I hugged the doll tightly and whispered, “You
are the best doll I‘ve ever had. Thank you Grandma!” I imagined her sitting
beside me saying, “You are welcome, Cindy.”
Now, I finally understood that it was the thought that counted, not the actual
gift.
