The tiger was furious. It threw an angry glance at the short monk. Just
when the tiger was about to tear them into pieces, the young monk used a
large branch to hit the tiger’s back at the last split second. After that, the fat
monk punched the tiger with his first fist. And finally, the skinny monk chased
the desperate tiger away to the forest.
When they arrived at the temple, they were all exhausted and they all
thanked the short monk. From that day on, they worked together. While the
three monks were carrying water, the short monk helped to do the chores. The
monks were all thankful to have one another as their companion.
