Words from the Vice President

各位畢業同學平安：

感謝上帝，你們畢業了，要
正式在工場服侍了。今天，這個世
界、社會及教會正受不同的事件與
思想衝擊，包括了民粹主義、經濟
與軍事對峙和撕裂。教會教牧也有
醜聞纏身，對於剛到任的新同工將
會是一個怎樣的工場呢？有時候我
也有不再想下去的忐忑。然而，
主耶穌來到這個世界，就是一個
和諧、沒有紛亂的世代嗎？人類以
前的罪性比現在好些嗎？我相信你
們都知道答案。那麼，我們以甚麼
態度面對工場的挑戰？主耶穌說：
「你們中間誰願為大，就要作你們
的用人；誰願為首，就要作你們的僕人。」（太二十26下-27）主耶穌的僕人們，我們惟有因著基督
的愛作眾人的僕人，以主耶穌的愛來服侍，才能克勝這個世代的種種衝擊。在要做領袖以先，只靠著
聖靈的力量好好的作僕人服侍，必能成為教會的好同工。

Dear Graduates,
Thanks be to God, You are going to graduate and to start working in the Church. Today the world, the society
and the Church is facing different impacts, for instance, popularism, economic and military conflicts and split.
It also happens from time to time scandals of Church workers. It is a bad situation for those who start to work
in the Church. Sometimes, I feel sorry for you in this bad time to start to work in the Church. However, was the
situation better and harmonious without conflict when Jesus came to the world? Was human being better then
compare to now? I am sure that you have the answer! Then, in what manner we are going to face the challenge
of our work place? Our Lord Jesus said, “Whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and
whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave.” (Matt. 20:26b-27) Dear servants of our Lord Jesus
Christ, we can only be servants and serve through the love of Christ, so that we may overcome all kinds of
impacts of the world. Before you are going to be the leader of the Church, with the help of the Holy Spirit, be a
good servant and you will be a good worker of the Church.
