English Club Activities

Various activities were held in
academic year 2015-2016 in order to
provide more chances for students
to practise English and better
understand different cultures and
customs. We also tried to provide a
fun and interesting environment for
students to learn English.

1. Halloween Celebration
Nothing could be happier than having fun
and treats at the same time. At the one and
only Halloween feast, students could try
apple-bobbing, pumpkin-carving and face-
painting in the English Club.

2. Film Shows
Movies of classic stories were shown to
students from time to time. By watching
the movies, students could practice English listening and English Club Committee Members:

Egg-and-spoon Race was the highlight of the event. Four

The school has facilitated students’ English learning by

creating an English Corner in Room G03. It is a place where

our English teachers conduct activities during lunch time

and after school.
The main goal of setting up the English Corner is to provide
a platform where the students can visit at any time and
practise their English speaking skills through activities. It
also enables communication between teachers and students.
It is fully equipped with English learning resources, DVDs,
board games and English books. The English Corner is used
for a number of after-school activities. Last year, activities
like Drama Workshops were conducted here.
