The Mathematics Society

The Mathematics Societies from various
secondary schools in Tsuen Wan launched
an inter-school Mathematics competition
called Tsuen Wan District City Hunt
(Mathematics) in February 2016. The
committee set up several check points in
Tsuen Wan and the participants had to go
to different check points to solve real-life
Math problems. The competition aimed
to let students know how important
Mathematics is in their daily lives and
apply what they have learnt in Math
lessons. Our school was so glad that two
of our teams won the championship and
second runner-up respectively.

Apart fr om the City Hunt, the
Mathematics Society has organized
some other competitions and post logic
questions on the board of Mathematics
Society regularly in order to enrich
students’ knowledge of Mathematics and
enhance their logical thinking skills.
