6B Fong Hoi Nam Alfred
“I am a member of the Chinese Debate Team.” I always say this proudly
to my classmates.
I have been a team member for three years. At first I had the mentality
of “aspiring to participate”, but eventually I liked debating a lot.
After joining the debate team, I met a lot of schoolmates from different
classes. Before and after class, we talked about everything with each
other. Although each debate class only lasted for 35 minutes, everyone
prepared well, read the books, shared the information, and learnt from
each other. This kind of atmosphere surrounded the whole classroom.
The experience of joining the debate team has inspired me to become
a lawyer. I am very grateful to the teacher for teaching me all the time.
I hope I can apply what I have learned in the future and use the skills
to become a good lawyer. Thank you Miss Li, Miss Lai and Mr
Chan!
