This year, the school team training had to be suspended. We couldn’t
join any activities of the Chinese Drum Team during the class
suspension. I felt disappointed when I first got this news. However,
I had an idea immediately. “I can practise at home by myself!” I told
myself.
I love playing the Chinese drum and also love this team very much.
I always take out my drumsticks and practise. I learnt different
skills by being a member of the Chinese Drum Team. I learnt
how to cooperate with my teammates and met many friends.

I really enjoy learning various skills and practising with this
team. Thanks for teaching me, my teachers!

I’m honoured to join the Chinese Drum Team.
Under the pandemic, although we could’t have
face to face training, we still maintained close
connections on Zoom. We knew that we could
still practise well for our competition. We
never gave up. I’m pleased to be chosen
by the teacher. I won’t disappoint them.
I’ll keep practising to show others that
‘No pain no gain’. I’m glad that I have
my wonderful teammates. I believe we
can win the battle.
