I have been a member of the Handbell team for three
5C Yuen Jeanne years since Primary Three. I was honoured that Miss Li
5D Pang Ka Yiu asked me to join the Handbell team. It is an activity that
requires teamwork and I am happy that I got to know

more friends!

I want to thank my Handbell trainer because she taught
6C Ng Tsz Yin me a lot of techniques, like how we could hold two
6D Cheung Hoi Ching handbells in one hand easily! But this technique was
very difficult. I had to practise a lot at home.

6D Tsoi Tsz Ching Although we often lost in competitions, winning or losing
doesn’t matter. The most important thing is that we enjoy
6E Cheung Hong Ching the competitions! As a senior in the team, I used all my
6E Tsang Hoi Ching effort to win! I hope more students will join the Handbell
team!

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we couldn’t practise the handbell at
school. Since handbells are too expensive and inconvenient to carry,
we couldn’t buy one ourselves or take them back home. Therefore, we
didn’t practise any songs for the whole year.
During the lessons, I was attentive. I was delighted that we could still
learn handbells through Zoom.
I hope that we can go back to school and play the handbell in person.
Also, I hope to meet all my friends. Playing the handbell is a team
activity. It can make us more united through collaborations, and this
is the main reason why I like playing the handbell so much.
