“Stay focused and be

steady.”

Kris won the Hong Kong Outstanding Teens Award in
the “2021 Hong Kong Outstanding Teens Election”,
organised by Hong Kong Playground Association.
The award not only was a testimony of Kris’ excellent
performance in personal achievement, it also
recognised Kris as a role model of bettering oneself
and caring about the community. Kris was modest and
shared about her story of growth.
Be someone with ability, “Like many other kids, I found it hard to concentrate

and focus when I was young. But then my parents
brought me to the world of gymnastics. I was
astonished by the elegance and strength of this
knowledge as well as good virtues unique sport and fell in love with it. When I started

practising in the gymnastic team, it taught me one
important thing – stay focused and be steady. When I

was on the balance beam, I learnt to ignore all other

movement only, keeping my head clear was the only
Class of 2021 distractions and concentrated on my breath and my
way to success, and it applied to my study and other
aspects of my life as well!”
