“WFJLPS is a school of caring, love,

and respect.”

Another thing Mei Wai was grateful for was undoubtedly her friends, classmates
and teammates who had been with her throughout the journey.

“WFJLPS is a school of caring, love, and respect. I am glad to have joined
the school gymnastics team in which I understand the essence of teamwork,
friendship and a sense of belonging. As I recall, in 2018, the team had the honour
to participate in the Hong Kong Inter-Primary Schools Gymnastics Tournament,
and we practised days and nights for the competition. All the teammates were like
family to each other. And even though there were always low points or challenges
like people getting injured during practice or having arguments over some
decisions, we fought together as a whole, and we never thought of giving up – we
won Team Champion in the end!”
