                   本校參加了「優質教育基全主題網絡計劃」,在過去一年,有幸可以得到網絡
               統籌學校—瑪利諾神父教會學校的專業支援,強化了教師在科學、科技、電腦及
               數學教育四個學習領域上的協調及協作,更能推動本校跨學科STEM教育的發展。

                   藉着校本支援計劃,瑪神分享了很多STEM教材範例並籌辦觀課活動,讓老師在
               教育專業上得到更多的啟發。此外,瑪神的同工們親自來到學校,與本校老師一起
               商討及設計STEM活動,分享了很多寶貴的實戰經驗,讓本校的《飛魚大作戰》活動
               得以順利完成。
                   今年因新冠肺炎疫情而停課,學校只能推行一個STEM活動—《飛魚大作
               戰》,但活動確實迎合到學生的興趣,同學全程積極投入,透過製作遙控氦氣飛魚
               的過程,同學能夠綜合及應用不同範疇的知識與技能。
                   在此,我們再次感謝瑪神同工的熱誠分享及支援,使本校老師獲益匪淺,我們
               有信心在未來設計及推行更多跨學科STEM教育活動。

             Our school has joined the Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks (QTN) in the school
         year  of  2019-20.  We  are  fortunate  to  have  the  professional  support  from  the  Network  Co-

         ordinating School, Maryknoll Fathers’ School, in the past year. Not only did it improve teachers’
         collaboration and promote integration in four learning areas, namely Science, Technology,
         Computer, and  Mathematics  Education,  but  it  also  promoted  the  development  of  cross-
         disciplinary STEM education.
            Through the School-based Support Scheme, Maryknoll Fathers’ School, moreover, has
         offered us an abundance of resources and opportunities, including samples of STEM teaching
         materials and peer lesson observations, providing teaching inspirations to teachers. Aside from

         that, fellow teachers from Maryknoll Fathers’ School also came to our school to discuss ways
         to design learning activities for STEM education and kindly share with us plenty of invaluable
         experiences of holding such activities. Thanks to the experiences, we have achieved great
         success in organizing the activity, The Air Swimmer.
            Despite class suspension caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our school managed to
         organize one STEM activity, The Air Swimmer. Students were fully absorbed in the engaging
         activity. By producing an RC “Flying Fish” launched by helium, students have been able to
         integrate and apply knowledge from different academic fields into reality.
            We are grateful to fellow teachers from Maryknoll Fathers’ School for their generous

         sharing and supports, and we all benefited enormously. With their supports, we are confident in
    13   designing and holding future cross-disciplinary STEM activities.
