Students Award 6A Tang Wai Sa
I was indeed fortunate to have participated in the
election for the Kwun Tong Outstanding Students
Award. This election provided me with an opportunity
to challenge myself beyond my limits and to broaden
my horizons beyond school. Through partaking in the
activities of the selection process, I have acquired new
skills and developed my potential in different areas, such as public oratory skills and ways to handle emergency
situations as a leader. I have developed a greater sense of self-worth and the ability to transform my imagined
weaknesses into my strengths. I was encouraged to step out of my comfort zone and to confidently socialize with
others, exerting myself to surmount barriers and to interact with strangers. Now every stranger is just a friend I do not
know!
This election has undoubtedly built up my confidence to overcome all the adversities I may encounter on this life
journey and to achieve my dreams. With all the positive and wonderful experiences, I have become a happier,
better and more confident person. I am truly honoured to have received The Kwun Tong District Outstanding
Students Award.
