My Classroom Cleaning Day
3B Lam Ying Tung
On Tuesday, our school had a cleaning day from ten
o’clock to eleven o’clock in the morning. I was grouped
with Sam and Rachel. Sam had jet black hair. Rachel was
wearing her hair in a braid.
We were all jumping with joy. We started to clean our
dirty classroom. I began to wipe the blackboard. Sam
cleaned the stains on the tables and Rachel began to
sweep the rubbish.
Suddenly, a huge black and yellow bumblebee flew as fast as a rocket in
the classroom. We had beads of cold sweat dripping down. Sam reassured us
and took the broom and whacked the bumblebee. I cried and was frozen with
terror. At last, we were safe.
After the “incident”, we became very good friends and were always together
during recess. I’ve learned a lesson that friends can be from everywhere, boys
or girls. I’m glad I’ve made friends with them. They are still my best friends
now! I think we will be best friends forever.
