One of the planned activities for the Creative Writing Week at your school is a
short story writing competition. You are given the following situation for the
story.

‘One day, you were helping your friend, Sandy, prepare some food in the
kitchen. Suddenly, the knife that you were using slipped and cut Sandy on the
hand. When you looked at the cut, you were shocked to discover that, instead of
blood, all you could see were wires, electrical circuits, and computer chips.’

One day while I was tidying up the old storage room, I found a weird-looking
book that seemed oddly familiar to me. I opened it out of curiosity. Suddenly, I

had a strong déjà vu running through my head. Before I could realize what was
going on, I fell and fainted.

‘Hey! Chris! Are you listening?’ I looked up and saw a girl staring at me. She
looked anxious and triggered. ‘Come on man! We still have a lot of things to

do!’ She yelled. ‘Oh, right! Hold on Sandy.’ I replied while still trying to recover
from the headache that I was having. ‘Finally! Welcome back. What’s the state
up there?’ She said it in a teasing way. ‘Ha, funny,’ I answered. ‘Well? Grab the

knife and start working.’ She almost said it as if she was my boss. ‘Sure, boss.’
I answered it in a sarcastic way. I tried to grab the knife from her hand but it
