Both students and
teachers had homestay
in the study tour. It’s a
fantastic experience to
students when they have
to get along with a local
family for the whole trip.
They had to manage the
problems they had come
across with the host
family and communicate
with them using English.
Surely they’ll become
more confident as an
English learner after the
trip.

The two STCC teachers Homestay
stay in the home of the
librarian teacher of Tyndale,
Miss Margaret Aitchison.
She is such a responsible,
passionate and active teacher.
She is a great chef, too!

Two of our students, Samuel
(4 Hope) and Jason (4
Honesty), stay in the same
host family. Their host is
hosting students from other
countries in the same period.
They can learn different
cultures including those in
other Asian countries. Lucky
them!

Zachary (3 Faith) and Evan
(3 Hope) are invited to join
a church gathering of the
host family on Sunday. The
boys feel glad meeting the
nice people in the church.
