Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

As Jesus said, it is more blessed to give than to receive. Our team, comprising
of 16 students and 2 teachers, arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport
with mixed feelings of joy and excitement. The 5-day service trip was indeed
all participating students’ first ever experience of volunteering in a less
developed country. Witnessing how STCC students expressed love and care
wholeheartedly, I was impressed and grateful beyond words.

The smiles and hugs of Cambodian children, who are mainly from socio-
economically deprived background, have been engraved on my heart. Despite
facing adversity and hardship, these adorable kids made an all-out effort
when playing games and joining competitions. Their passion and enthusiasm
towards life inspired us to reach for the stars, regardless of any obstacles and
limitations.

Thank God for His guidance and protection through which we were able
to accomplish the mission. May we learn to treasure every day for all the
