G’day in Oz 2018
It’s the annual highlight of the activities from English Department that we go to
Sydney for a study tour. This summer, 16 STCC students and 2 English teachers
went to Blacktown in Sydney for 11 days. It’s not just about touring around the
city but getting ourselves immersed in the local culture there. Without a doubt, it’s
an authentic environment in which students have to use English all the time so
as to communicate with their host families and buddies. This year, we stayed at
Tyndale Christian School, a well-established local Christian school.

1-2 We are welcomed by Tyndale upon arrival at the school.
3-4 Time flies. It’s the graduation ceremony for our students. Each STCC student is given a certificate and souvenir.
5-6 While students are attending lessons in Tyndale, the two teachers Miss Au and Miss Kong are given chances to observe a
Geography lesson and a Japanese lesson. Their students are just so attentive and active in class!
