The HTYC Symphonic Band
Our Symphonic Band was founded by Mr Ng King
Chun in 2000, with members from our instrumental
classes such as woodwinds, brass and percussion as
the backbone of the Band. With the strong support of
our school, the band has grown and won various prizes Blooming in grace
in the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflow over the years.
We also actively participate in a variety of performances
as well as exchange events with the professional
orchestras and symphonic bands from other schools.
During these events, we have enjoyed the opportunity
to learn under the baton of various conductors and
musicians. Furthermore, students with potential are
selected and trained to become committee members of
the Band. These student officials assist the conductor
in sectional training and managing the band.
