The HTYC School Choir
Through choral training, our school choir aims at nurturing its members to be confident
young singers, enhancing their autonomous leadership, strengthening their sense of
commitment to the school and society, and creating a proactive learning environment
to inculcate in its members a positive attitude to life and a readiness to reach their full
potential. To suit individual needs and interests, students are given different opportunities
such as accompaniment and conducting training. Throughout the years, a number of
student conductors have seized the opportunity to learn to conduct and lead the choir in
performances. Since the establishment of the choir, we have participated in various musical
activities to develop the strengths and talents of our members. Moreover, we would like
to promote the Christian spirit of joy and thanksgiving, and share the love of God through
music.
