I’ ve joined the Go Chess Team since Primary Two. I
really like playing Go Chess. I look forward to having
lessons every week. Our school has hired a tutor
from Hong Kong Children’s Go College. The tutorials
really inspired me and they are the reason that
I made it this far. This year, because of Covid-19,
the lessons were held online and I found it hard to
learn, but I still tried my best. When I go to secondary
school next year, there may not be Go Chess Team
anymore, so I really cherish my time here. I hope the
school team will continue to grow and more students
can enjoy Go Chess as a fun hobby.

All students are attentive while learning different
strategies. The tutor often engages students with lots of
challenging questions. With discussions, every student
has the opportunity to develop their fast thinking skills.
The tutor also shows students different ways to escape
if they are trapped in the game.
Every Tuesday, the Go Chess Team members have training on
Zoom from 15:00 – 15:45. Although students can’t play chess
face to face, everyone still treasures the time and tries their
very best to enjoy learning from the professional Go Chess
tutor.
