The Statues

Jennifer went to the Peak with her family last Saturday. They took the
Peak tram. They saw the beautiful view. Jennifer said, 'The weather is good.'

They felt happy.

First, they went to a shop. They went shopping. They saw some lovely
vases. Mum said, 'I like this one!' Dad felt excited. Then, they went to a Chinese

restaurant. They ate chicken, fish and vegetables. They said, 'The food is yummy!'
They felt happy.

Next, they went to the wax

museum. They looked at the statue of

Andy Lau. They wanted to take photos
with it. However, Dad saw a rat on the
head of Andy Lau's statue. Dad told

Mum and Jennifer about the rat. They

felt scared.

At the end, Dad looked carefully
and he realised that the rat was only a

statue. Dad said, 'The statue looks so
real.' Everybody laughed.
