Perseverance – Students are striving their best
                                                            to commit to some workouts to experience how
                                                            arduous the agricultural work is. Students are
                                                            having  a  role-playing  activity,  in  which they
                                                            experience how exhausting farming is. Moreover,
                                                            we want to educate our students to own this value
                                                            because they will meet a lot of challenges in the
                                                            future. However, if they can taste success after
                                                            hard work, they can persist and strive for their
                                                            goal next time. That is what we wish our students      Character Building
                                                            to achieve.










               Commitment – Students are committing to a
               mission of re-building a house for residents
               on Treasure Island. Students design and plan
               how to build their own house all by themselves.
               They meet challenges with  braveness. The
               result  is  not the  same as their expectation.
               However, they learn about commitment and
               problem solving in different steps. They have
               to commit to the part or duty that is assigned
               to them after their discussion. This is a value
               that we want our students to practise in their
               daily life in the future.                                                                           51







                                                               Character Building not only provides an              2019-2020 Harmony
                                                               environment for our students to develop
                                                               their social skills, problem-solving skills and
                                                               co-ordinating skills, but also provides an
                                                               opportunity for them to develop the six core
                                                               values of our school.

                                                               Character Building is not knowledge but a
                                                               learning process. We look forward to seeing
                                                               many good citizens, life-long learners, moral
                                                               leaders and wise decision-makers from our
                                                               school.
