School Teams
I have joined the Chinese Orchestra of our school since Primary
Three. I really enjoyed a lot with my teammates in these four years.
In the Chinese Orchestra, I have learnt to cooperate with my
teammates who play different Chinese musical instruments. We
always have some extra practice before competitions. Although
the extra practice is long and tiring, we never give up and keep
practising until we could play the song well. Furthermore, I have
a chance to learn other Chinese instruments. Of course, Dizi is
my favourite. I got the second place in Dizi Solo Music Festival
Competition in 2019.
In the past four years, our team attended a lot of competitions and
shows. We won some prizes. When we lost, we discussed how to
106 improve ourselves.
Time flies, very soon, I will leave our Chinese Orchestra. I will miss
our weekly rehearsal after school and hope our younger teammates
can keep doing well and join more competitions in the future.
