This year our P6 English Enhancement class is partaking in the
exciting and challenging opportunity of running their very own school
television programme, Hennessy TV. It is very much a team effort and everyone
contributes to the final product. Programmes are broadcast in our classrooms
during lunchtime and some are posted on our school website. The students
employ a wide range of skills from brainstorming, researching, interviewing, writing,
directing, producing and editing. They also use digital aspects including using an iPad
for recording both videos and sound, as well as editing. It is rewarding to see them so
focused and animated on their tasks. So far we have a thrilling clip on the P6 outing
to Ocean Park and an informative piece on Halloween. Keep your eyes out for
the next installment of Hennessy TV, coming soon!
