Writing a Journal

5A Chong Ching Wa

Yesterday morining, Tiffany was on the bus on the way to school. She said goodbye to her mother. There
were many people on the bus. Luckily, she found a seat.
Later on, an old lady named Mrs. Chan got on the bus. No one wanted to give up their seats even though
she looked old. Mrs Chan even asked a man for the seat but the man ignored her. Tiffany was very angry.
Tiffany walked to the man and said, ‘Why don’t you give
up you seat for Mrs Chan? She is an elderly.’ The man said,
‘Sorry, I will give my seat to Mrs. Chan.’
At last, the man gave up his seat for Mrs. Chan. Mrs.
Chan said ‘Thank you!’ to both the man and Tiffany.

My School Picnic

On 5 October 2019, Thursday, we went to Tai Mo Shan Country Park for a school picnic. My class teacher and classmates
joined the school picnic with me. It was a cool and cloudy day. We went there by coach.
At first, we gathered in the school playground. Upon arrival, we started to set the fire. I was responsible for bringing drinks
for the class. Suddenly, it started to rain. The unstable weather condition made it difficult to set up the fire. Eventually when the
rain stopped, I had a barbecue with my classmates. Then, I went hiking with my class teacher. After hiking, I played hide-and-
seek with my friends. I also looked at the gorgeous scenery in the country park.
We were all delighted.
My most memorable moment is when I went hiking in the Tai Mo Shan Hiking
Practice trail, I saw a lot of cow’s stool. I panicked and tried to step away from the
cow’s stool. Unluckily, I accidentally stepped on the cow's stool, when we got lost
and trying to return to the starting point. I had to clean my shoes. It was disgusting.
I am so excited and happy since I learnt how to set the fire. I enjoyed the
school picnic very much. I am looking forward to the school picnic again next year!
