A Recipe

3A Leung Yuet Ching, Andria

First wash the ham under the running water.

Then cut the ham into pieces.
Next put the ham and cheese on the bread.
After that put a slice of bread on the top of the cheese.
At last put the sandwich on a plate.

Tom's Birthday
3B Lee Tsz Yin, Onna

Today is Tom’s birthday. Tom and his father celebrate at home. Tom’s father gives Tom a robot for his birthday gift. They
sing ‘Happy birthday’ and eat party food. Tom is excited because he has a party.
Then his mum makes an ice-cream birthday cake. Tom wants to blow the candles; he closes his eyes
and makes a wish.
Suddenly, Meowy the cat jumps on the cake and Mum accidentally drops the cake on the floor.
Everyone is shocked.
At last, everyone forgives Meowy because they understand that she is just hungry. Tome gives her
some pet food. And they all work together to make another birthday cake. It is so amazing! They all enjoy
the birthday cake. They feel joyful.

Tom's Birthday

3C Tam Chin Yuet, Cheryl

Today is Tom’s birthday. He has a birthday party with his parents at home. There are some party food such as cola, a lot
of chicken wings and some potato chips. Then, his father gives him a robot for his birthday and says ’Happy Birthday, Tom!’
Tom feels really happy and cheerful.
After that, Tom’s mother brings a tasty cake out and sings the birthday song to Tom. The cake is
made by Tom’s mother. Tom feels really excited. Tom’s pet Lucy also wants to try the cake.
Then, Lucy the hungry cat jumps on the cake. The cake drops on the floor. Everyone feels
upset. ‘Oh no!’ Tom’s mother shouts.
At last, Mum says, ‘I will go to the bakery and buy another birthday cake for you!’ They feel
happy again because they can finally eat a tasty birthday cake.

My weekends

3D Lai Man Wai

At weekend, I like playing with my younger sister, Carla. Every Sunday evening, we go to the park
together. We do not need to go to school, so we can have fun. We like playing there because we feel
relaxed.
In the park, we can play on the swings and slides. We can also play badminton. We usually stay
there for one hour.
After playing with my younger sister, we go to the supermarket with our mom. We buy some drinks
there. I feel tired but very happy.
