Guidance to students
S1 Summer Bridging Course

adapt to the new environment during the summer holiday. In the adaptation classes, the S1 freshmen can
experience the Chinese Language, English Language, Liberal Studies and Physical Education lessons. There
is also the introduction of the “Arts and Sports Education” Scheme and Personal Growth Workshop for our
students. Through the lessons, they can get to know more about the school environment, teachers and also
the students. Through the Personal Growth Workshop, every student can learn to become a person who knows
how to respect and take care of others.
Student Leaders Training
Student leaders’ group comprises chairperson
and vice chairperson of the committee of
Students’ Union, representatives from Big
Brothers and Big Sisters Scheme, captains of
the prefect team, representatives of monitors
from S3 to S5, outstanding students and some
members from the Shadowing Programme.
The Shadowing Programme was launched last year, providing opportunities for the student leaders of senior
form to guide and teach one or two junior form students the characteristics of student leaders.
Meanwhile, in order to further extend the horizons of student leaders, a retreat tour has been organized for
nd
them in the 2 Term for the review of their performance last year,
following the scheduled theme “A Treasure Hunt in Greater Bay Area”,
students could personally go to the Greater Bay Area to explore the
fortune of future development there. Students were arranged to
visit a current integrated agricultural base in Jiangmen, to learn the
stories of what the young people have done to chase their dreams.
They have been benefited a lot from the tour, not only understanding
the rapid development in the Greater Bay Area, but also learning the
spirit and attitude in starting a business.
