Fund-raising

There are many people in the world who die because they dont have enough
food. According to a research, 5 million people died of hunger every year. In

order to raise funds to help them improve their life, I prepared an action plan a
month ago.

First, I planned what we were selling, the prices and the time .We also
considered what clothes to wear to attract buyers. We thought carefully
about all these concerns before we prepared these things. I was lucky to
have my families and friends to help motivate me to prepare for this event.
After our discussion, we finally decided to sell some Hong Kong special food

such as egg puff, grid cake, dragon bread candy, tea-flavored egg, necklaces,
bracelet, and other ornaments. My most important job of the day was to
solicit donations for a charity.

Pulling off a successful carnival can be a big job, but we can make the event
manageable by tackling the jobs one at a time. The reward for all our hard work
was, when we saw parents and teachers enjoy themselves.

I learned a lot of things from this carnival like how to communicate with other
people and boost my confidence. It also makes my life more meaningful and
more valuable. Finally I hope my experience can inspire more people to help

people in need, so that poor people can have more care and support.
