Visiting Museums

Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my views on students should visit museums more

often. Recently, our school has organized museum outings. Visiting museums
has a lot of advantages. I think schools should organize more museum outings.

The first point is visiting museums can let students broaden their scope of

knowledge. Hong Kong Museum of History is a good example. It has a lot of
historical artifacts, such as clothes of Hong Kong people in the past. Also,
the museum provides a chance to experience different learning elements.
Students can learn a lot.

The second point is visiting museums can enhance student’s creativity. In
Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong Heritage Museum, students can
develop their interests in art. Students can learn different skills like drawing

or sketching in the workshops.

The third point is visiting museums allows us to make more new friends.
Students can find more friends with the same hobby. An example is the Hong

Kong Space Museum; if you are interested in space, you can find a person who
has the same hobby as you. Visiting Hong Kong Space Museum can also help
to kill time if you have nothing to do.

In conclusion, I think schools should organize more museum outings for
