Australia Study Tour 2019

A nine-day Australia Study Tour was held at Easter in the
academic year 2018-2019. Twenty four P.4-P.6 students set off to
Melbourne with four teachers and the Principal, Mr. Wong.
In the tour, students had chances to visit different famous tourist
spots in Melbourne like Flinder Street Station, Hoiser Lane, Puffing
Billy Railway, Melbourne Museum, Ereka Skydeck 88 ……
They also went to the countryside to have a close touch with the
nature. They welcomed the penguins home on Phillip Island; witnessed
the magnificent rock stacks that rise up from the Southern Ocean on
Victoria's dramatic coastline; cherished the cute animals like kangaroo,
koala, emu, pony …
Visiting the local school in Melbourne was the core in this tour!
Students experienced the school life of the local Australian students
and had a better understanding towards the Australian culture by
visiting Fitzroy Community School. They had a half-day school in there.
They had lessons and activities together with the Australian students.
Also they chatted and played. Every of our students kept grinning
when leaving. This proved how fruitful and enjoyable the visit was!
