III. Companion LeShalom Centre

In line with the development of the counselling programs in LTS, “Companion LeShalom Centre”,
hereinafter “the Centre”, located in the center of Kowloon, was established in 2018. The Centre provides
a practicum platform for the students to deepen their learning through clinical supervision and internships,
and to achieve the goal of combining knowledge and practice. In addition, the Centre renders support to
LTS students, alumni, pastors, and believers for their personal and psycho-spiritual growth, as well as
strengthening the pastoral care and counseling ministry in churches.
A. Update

During the course of the year, there was much grace all around. No matter whether they were the workers,
counsellors, students, volunteers, churches or members of the general public, blessings were showered on
them all. Below are the details.
1. The Grand Opening and Dedication Ceremony of the Centre was held on 15th April, 2018. There were
over 90 guests who showed up to celebrate with us, including Dr. Simon Chow, the President who gave
the opening address, Elder Chan Ka-keung who prayed for the ministry, Bishop Chang Chun-wa who
delivered a brief speech, Dr. Angel Lam who shared the vision of the ministry and Rev. Ip Leong-sing
who offered the benediction.
