We have the same hobbies. We like playing volleyball and the piano. We are both Brownies and
prefect leaders so we know each other very well.
Do you have a memorable experience with your best friend? I do. We had a cooking lesson
together and we baked cakes for her brother‛s birthday. I remember that we nearly had an ‘accident‛
after the lesson. Her brother was sleeping quietly in the house. When we arrived at her house,
her brother was awake and walking towards us. Fortunately Jackie put the cake into the fridge
immediately, after I had whispered “Be careful of your brother!” Finally, we successfully surprised
her brother. This was my memorable experience with her.
Friends are valuable. We should cherish them and be nice to them because it is very diffi cult
to fi nd a real friend. I wish that our friendship will last forever.

A best friend will always be there for you whenever you are happy or
not. When you are happy they will laugh with you. When you are feeling
down, they will try their best to cheer you up.
My best friend is Yola. I‛ve known her for a really long time. When we
fi rst met, we were in Primary 2. We have known each other for fi ve years
already. Time really fl ies. Yola has long hair. She always ties it in a ponytail.
She also has a pair of dark brown eyes. A special thing I have noticed, is
a dimple that appears on her left cheek when she smiles. The reason why
Yola is my best friend is that she‛s a humble person. She never boasts or shows off. This makes
her easy going. Sometimes she looks cold when she doesn‛t smile.
Yola and I have been through a lot. The most memorable experience I have is when Yola,
Agnes, Emily and I went to Tung Ping Chau together. We spent a really meaningful day there. When
we fi nally came back to school, it was already 7:30 at night. However, my mum wasn‛t there. So Yola
stayed with me and we waited for my mum together. I was really glad that she was there because
that was my fi rst time being alone on the street at night. I‛ve become braver since then.
Yola is also the most open-minded person in my social circle. She doesn‛t mind others picking
nicknames for her, for example, Coca Cola! She always says, ‘Never mind!‛ Although we may not
study in the same secondary school, we will still keep in touch. Our friendship will never break no
matter what happens!

My best friend is Cadi Wan. I have known her for two years, since
Primary 5. She has long hair and wears it in a ponytail. Well, she used to
but she cut it recently. She now has short, straight hair. She has big eyes,
a small nose and mouth. She also has rosy red cheeks. She always smiles
warmly.
I think Cadi is hard-working because she is always doing revision and
exercise after school. Therefore, she gets good marks in her exams and
she is the top student in the class. She‛s never lazy. She is humble too! She
never boasts. When I ask her why she gets those good marks in exams, she says her parents help
her all the time. Also, she is obedient. She follows the school rules, she would never break them.
Cadi‛s favourite subject is English. She loves Miss Shiu‛s lessons very, very much. Besides
English, she loves maths too! She‛s in the school‛s math team. She has joined a lot of math
competitions and she has won many medals for the school. She is pleased with herself. Cadi loves
reading books (same as me), so sometimes we‛ll see each other in the school library. We both love
Roald Dahl books, especially Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
My best friend is Cadi. Who is you r best friend?
