I had a frightening day today. A car accident happened just
in front of me! I was getting in my family‛s car when the accident
happened. My dad and I were heading towards the car park. Dad
drove me to my friend‛s birthday party.
When we were walking on the pavement I heard ‘Beep! Beep!‛
and I looked backwards. It was a crossroad. A red car was dashing
while a taxi was going straight ahead. ‘Oh, no!‛ I thought to myself. I
screamed “Watch out!”
But it was too late. ‘BUMP‛ the two cars crashed. A windshield
from one of the cars went fl ying. It landed on my foot! I was terrifi ed. My dad pushed me
away. He shouted, “Danger!” There was smoke coming out from the front of the taxi.
Dad and I rushed to help. Luckily, the two drivers were not seriously injured, both of
them banged their heads. They thanked us, then we called ‘999‛.
Two minutes later, a police car and an ambulance arrived. They sent the two drivers to
hospital. The police asked Dad and I some questions because we were eyewitnesses. They
towed the two cars away and left.
We rushed to the party and I had a happy time. What a scary day!

I had an unfortunate day today. It was a Saturday. My mother
went off to work today. At eight in the morning, I made some grilled
cheese with some bacon for breakfast. I was cooking the bacon when
I burnt my hand. A part of my hand became red so I put it in cold
water. Well, it wasn‛t the best way to start the day.
A few hours later, it was already the afternoon. I went to the
park to breathe in some air. When I arrived, I wandered around but
I didn‛t notice that there was a rock in front of me. I tripped over
the rock. I felt a lot of pain. I looked at my leg and it was bleeding.
I felt embarrassed so I left. On my way back home, I thought to
myself ‘it is not a lucky day!‛
When I arrived back home, I cleaned my wound. I wanted to phone my mother but I
didn‛t know where my phone was! I decided to take a break and relax. I watched a movie in
the living room.
At night, my mother returned and saw me. The first thing she said was, “What
happened?” I told her everything and then I went to bed with my mother beside me.
