P.6 Students write about their
best friends.

My best friend is Yoyo. We met each other in Primary 5. I have known
her for two years. When we first met each other we were shy to speak
to one another, but soon we did speak, and we became friends. I really
enjoy spending my time with her! Yoyo is fat but she has a cute face, like a
baby. She is taller than me, too. However, she never laughs at me for being
shorter than her. She is kind to me.
Yoyo is a loyal friend. She is always there when I am feeling sad or
happy. She is diligent. She always studies hard and is never lazy. Yoyo is
generous too. She always shares her food with me and others. She isn‛t selfi sh. She is nice to other
people. However, she does have one bad habit. She is not punctual, at all! Sometimes she is late and
I am angry with her because I‛ve waited for a long time. I remind her that she should change this
habit and become punctual.
Yoyo and I always play and chat with each other at the recess time at school. Sometimes we go
shopping together at the weekend. We are excited about that every time.
I hope Yoyo and I will be best friends forever!

My best friend is Hazel. She is also my classmate. I met Hazel when we
were in Primary 2. We met in the playground. I talked to her and we became
friends. I can still remember what we talked about. It was unforgettable!
We have known each other for fi ve years.
Hazel loves reading. She has to wear glasses. If she doesn‛t wear her
glasses, she cannot see the blackboard clearly. She has beautiful long hair,
it is as smooth as silk. She has a small mouth, but she can smile warmly.
Hazel is diligent. She studies hard after school every day. She is loyal
too. She is always there when I need her. She is polite and never rude. She follows all of the school
rules and she is a prefect. She thinks being a prefect is meaningful because she can help others to
be good. She has a lot of positives, too many to write.
We send voice messages to each other every weekend. We share our ideas and help teach each
other with our homework, but we don‛t copy. We also talk about the funny things that happened
during the week. We talk for more than an hour at a time. Both of us have a wonderful time.
This is the last year we will study at the same primary school. I have enjoyed the time I spent
with Hazel. I hope we can study in the same secondary school. If we cannot, it‛s ok because we are
best friends.

Jackie has long straight hair that is tied up in a ponytail. She also
wears a pair of glasses. We have known each other for three years. We met
in Primary 3 because we were in the same class. How about you, how did you
meet your best friend?
Every friend has their own characteristics. Jackie is diligent and
responsible. She doesn‛t treat me badly. She does revision all the time and she helps the teachers
to take the books every day. She helps me when I need her too. She is a loyal friend. That‛s why
she is very popular.
