We have read the diary entries of four P.5
students. Some accidents happened to them. I
hope everyone is ok!

I had an unlucky day today. I went to my friend‛s house to play.
The sky was very dark. I rang his bell but no one opened the door.
Suddenly, his mum opened the door. She had a tired looking face.
She took me to the sitting room and she told me that my friend, Ben
broke his leg. I saw him lying on the bed in pain. He told me that, he
went to the supermarket to buy things. He slipped down a steep slope
and broke his leg.
I went out and got some coke but I heard his mother scream.
I ran to the kitchen. She had burnt herself badly. I gave her some
medicine. I was running back to Ben when I heard a thunderstorm, it
scared me so much, and I fell over. I stood up and saw a weird, scary looking boy standing
in Ben‛s garden. I screamed loudly and I saw fi ve other kid‛s outside! I fainted.
A twelve o‛clock I saw myself in Ben‛s bed. Ben and his mother were looking at me.

They said that today was 13 May and today was a Friday!
It was an unlucky day today!

I had an awful day today. It was very terrible. I don‛t want to
have such a bad experience again.
“Get up son, it‛s time to go to school” said Mum. I was lying on
my bed when I heard her shout “Don‛t be late. I‛m going to work now,
bye!” Then I heard the door close as she left. I had played video
games until 2a.m. so I was very tired. I jumped out of bed and ran to
the toilet. I was feeling really tired and I slipped. I hit my leg and
bottom badly! It hurt a lot. I managed to stand up, then I brushed
my teeth and ate breakfast. I also changed my clothes.
My leg was feeling better after a while so I thought I would go to school by bus. I was
nearly at the bus stop when I saw the bus, I need, drive away. I tried to chase it but as I
started to run I twisted my ankle! At the same time, I saw my best friend, Danny. I asked
for his help. He helped me get to school. I felt pleased.
The last lesson was P.E. lesson. Mr. Lee said we would play football. Although I had
twisted my ankle and hurt my leg, I still wanted to play. So I didn‛t tell Mr. Lee about it (but
I knew it‛s a mistake after a while).
While we were playing, Tom had a shot. I couldn‛t catch it. He hit the ball very hard. The
ball went through my hands and banged my head. Ouch! That hurt! That‛s all I remember.
When I opened my eyes, I saw I was in the medical room. Mum was sitting next to me,
also Mr. Lee. I told Mum and Mr. Lee the truth. I thought they would scold me but they
didn‛t. I promised them I would always tell them everything.
I knew that I should be careful, and honest. It‛s 10p.m. I should sleep now, or I will be
very tired tomorrow!
