C. English Activities
English Fun Day
English Fun Day was held on 20 June 2018. Students learnt English through interesting
th
activities that included shows like Puppetry and Drama as well as booth games.
Our NET teachers, Ms Bussey and Ms Denning organised meaningful interactive activities
in the hall -Sing Along ( P.1) and Food Culture (P.4-6). Students enjoyed singing songs and
tasting food while learning English.
Besides, Spelling Bee Competition was conducted by our English subject teachers on
English Fun Day in each class. The winner of each class was awarded a Certificate of
Merit.
In the classroom, students participated in activities like movie watching, board games, card
games as well as cartoon drawing. They were all exposed to an engaging and language-
rich environment.
We like drawing cartoon characters! Sing along with NET teachers!
Students tasted different food in “Food Culture” It was fun to play board games and card games.
Watching movies is a good
way to learn authentic English!
Our English Special Agents hosted the booth games in the Multi-purpose Room.
Students displayed their spelling skill in the
Spelling Bee Competition!
P.1-2 students were excited to watch the Puppetry Show!
