B. English Drama and Puppet Theatre
English Drama
The English Drama Club held regular activities and training on Thursdays and Fridays for
students from P3-P6. Dramatic skills including vocal games, movement exercises and
confidence building team work are introduced to students.
The Drama Club presented their first Hong Kong School Drama Festival performance with
an original script entitled ‘The Mystery of the Missing Dinosaur Bone!’ on 5 March 2018.

They received five awards including “Award for Commendable Overall Performance”,
“Award for Outstanding Performer”, “Award for Outstanding Stage Effect” and “Award for
Outstanding Cooperation”. Our NET teacher Ms Denning received “Award for Outstanding
Director”. It was a great success.
Puppet Theatre
Seven P5 students participated in the “Story to Stage” Puppetry Competition organized
by the NET Section of the Education Bureau. The students acquired different skills and
techniques in voice, positioning and using real emotions to help bring the puppets to life.
In fact, puppetry encourages students to experiment with language. They captured the
Second Prize in the competition.
